Brooks, meadows, fields whatever... My Brooks saddle brings me there. I originally purchased a Team Professional, after a tip from a man I like to think of as somewhat of an aficionado. I remember he distinctly said, ?You will either love a Brooks saddle or hate it, no in between.? I somehow got the feeling that he thought I would hate it and I can understand why as I?m an impatient sort. And true to form, I only stuck with it when it was initially uncomfortable because I thought it looked great! Boy, am I glad I did as now a bit like that wisely old hound, I am a huge fan and never tire of telling folk they should try them out. Firstly, if you are reading this and thinking about buying one for off road use, I know exactly what you are thinking after looking at one ? that the saddle is way too small for a man who still loves his wife! Well that maybe so but I have scuffed mine up from many crashes and the leather is still thick and sturdy. Of course putting Proofide on helps ? especially on the bottom for all over consistency. Now for the amazing thing. I know some people swear it takes a certain length of time to break a saddle in but after about three months I noticed what can only be described as two little dimples forming towards the back of the saddle. Home run?my butt was with one with the saddle now and I swear this is the most comfortable saddle my butt has ever been on. Be Santa to your butt and get yourself on one of these. Ted, Virginia.
