DAVE LIDGETT, England.
Posted 18 July 2010

Following the piece in The Times yesterday, I was prompted to write to you about my Brookes saddle. It was formerly my Dad's and has now reached the venerable age of 57. At the age of 73 I still ride my bike for a few miles every day and after what must be over 100,000 miles, the saddle, like me, is not what it once was. However I always sit on the saddle with a sigh of relief -- it's like sitting in a favourite armchair. I'm just hoping that it will hold out until my cycling days are over ! Dave.
